Sabine H. Scholz has over 20 years of work experience in the fields of internal audit, advisory, and audit. Sabine H. started their career as an Audit Assistant at KPMG in 1993 and worked their way up to the position of Manager Audit at KPMG Nederland by 1999. From 2003 to 2012, they held various roles at KPMG, including Manager Advisory and Senior Manager Advisory. In 2013, Scholz joined the Fresenius Group as Director Internal Audit and later became Vice President at Fresenius SE & Co KGaA in 2014. Since 2016, they have been serving as the Senior Vice President Internal Audit at the Fresenius Group.

Sabine H. Scholz attended Universität Passau from 1990-1992, where they completed their degree in Betriebswirtschaft and obtained the title of Diplom-Kauffrau. Prior to this, from 1987-1989, they studied Business Administration at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and received a Vordiplom. In 1985, they attended Stadtsparkasse Nürnberg and earned a degree in Bankkaufmann. In 1997, they became a Steuerberaterin (tax advisor) through the Hessisches Wirtschaftsministerium, and in 1999, they became a Wirtschaftsprüferin (certified accountant) through the same institution. In 2014, they pursued further executive education at Harvard Business School.
