Murat Çağri Süzer

Murat Cagri Suzer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the banking and financial technology sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Corporate & Investment Banking in Global Markets at Garanti BBVA since June 2022, Murat leads the CIB business in Turkey and oversees various fintech initiatives, including payments and digital banking. In addition to being a CEO and Executive Board Member at Garanti BBVA Payment Systems, Murat chairs the Board of Garanti BBVA Digital Assets and serves on multiple boards, including Garanti BBVA Romania and the Interbank Card Center of Turkey. Previous roles include SEVP and Head of Retail Banking at BBVA in the USA, where Murat drove significant transformation in the Retail Banking division. Murat holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Middle East Technical University and has completed an executive program at INSEAD.
