Samuel Cravo

Software Engineer at Garda Capital Partners

Samuel Cravo started their work experience in 2014 as a Financial Advisory Intern at Northeastern Planning Corporation. In 2015, they interned as a Country Insights Intern at Dun & Bradstreet. From 2016 to 2016, they worked as an Economic Valuation Services Intern at KPMG. Following that, Samuel served as a Spreadsheet Modeling Teacher's Assistant at Cornell University from 2014 to 2015. In 2017, they became an Investment Research Senior Associate at Aksia, where they were responsible for Investment Due Diligence on over 20 Quantitative Hedge Funds. Samuel co-founded PVSC Greenpoint Research in 2021 and worked there as the Head Quant until 2023. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Garda Capital Partners, where they maintain and expands the firm's internal python library and develops python-based apps to support research.

Samuel Cravo completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, where they attended from 2013 to 2017.
