Thomas Heavey

Thomas Heavey currently serves as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Garda Capital Partners, having progressed through roles as a Quantitative Analyst and Software Engineer since September 2020. At Boston University, Thomas holds the position of Graduate Research Fellow, where notable achievements include the development of an open-source Python package for parallel tempering molecular dynamics and the creation of course materials and assessments for undergraduate chemistry courses. Previous experience includes a Junior Developer role at TPRV Capital, a Master's Student in Chemistry at UNC Charlotte focusing on organometallic chemistry, and a variety of roles in academic and pharmaceutical settings.
