Amy Ortiz has a diverse and extensive work experience in the accounting and finance field. Amy began their career in 2005 as an Accounts Receivable professional at First Financial Services, where they excelled in debt collection and achieved high collection volumes.

Amy then moved on to DirectBuy, Inc. where they took on multiple roles, including Project Accountant and Accounts Payable team member, handling international accounting for franchise locations. Amy demonstrated strong leadership and training skills in these roles, recovering accounting overpayments and providing support to colleagues.

Amy also worked as an intern at the Will County Auditor's office, where they gained experience in auditing tasks such as claims auditing, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Prior to their current role as Financial Accounting Supervisor at Gardant Management Solutions, Amy held positions of increasing responsibility within the same organization, including Senior Financial Accounting Manager and Financial Accounting Manager. In these roles, they oversaw financial accounting functions, performed financial statement preparation, and drove process improvements.

Additionally, Amy worked as a Staff Accountant and Finance Specialist at HomeStar Bank and Financial Services, where they managed financial operations, prepared budgets, and conducted variance analysis. Amy demonstrated advanced Excel skills and expertise in financial analysis and reconciliation.
