Crystal Werner

Crystal Werner has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the senior living industry. Crystal most recently served as the Regional Director of Operations at Gardant Management Solutions, starting in September 2020. Prior to that, Crystal was the Executive Director at Discovery Senior Living from December 2019 to September 2020. Crystal also held the position of Executive Director at Meridian Senior Living from July 2017 to December 2019. Crystal has a strong background in operations, evidenced by their role as Regional Director of Operations at Ridgeline Management Company from February 2016 to May 2017. Before entering the senior living industry, Crystal worked as an Area Executive Director and Residence Director at Enlivant from July 2014 to January 2016 and October 2012 to July 2014, respectively. Crystal gained administrative training and certification as an Administrator-In-Training at Brookdale Senior Living from May 2012 to October 2012. Crystal has experience in providing support and advocacy services as a Community Services Case Manager at Turning Point Domestic Violence Services, Inc. from January 2010 to July 2010. Crystal also served as the Victim Assistance Coordinator at the Shelby County Prosecutor's Office from August 2003 to December 2009. Crystal began their career in the field of youth services, working in the Home-Based Program at the Shelby County Youth Center from September 2000 to August 2003.

Crystal Werner attended the University of Indianapolis from 1988 to 1990, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work. In 2011, they enrolled in a specialized course of study at Martin University-Success Development, Inc. and earned a Residential Care Administrator- Specialized Course of Study degree. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained a Social Services Designee Certification from Martin University-Success Development, Inc. Crystal pursued further education at Jones International University from 2010 to 2011 and received a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Administration. Prior to their time at the University of Indianapolis, Crystal attended Judson University from 1986 to 1988, focusing on Psychology.
