Jan Willem Verweij has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Jan Willem is currently the Senior Vice President of Operations at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club. Prior to that, they worked at Quail Lodge & Golf Club, where they held the positions of Hotel Manager and Resort Manager. Before that, they worked at The Peninsula Hotels, where they served as the Director of Front Office, Assistant Director of Housekeeping, Interim Spa Manager, Assistant Director of Front Office, and Front Desk Manager. Jan Willem also worked as a Part-time Instructor at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education in Switzerland, and as Lodge Operations Projects Manager at Quail Lodge & Golf Club. Additionally, they have experience as a Night Auditor at Thistle Hotels. Throughout their career, Jan Willem Verweij has demonstrated strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a focus on enhancing guest experience and operational efficiency.

Jan Willem Verweij completed their education in hotel management at Mondriaan College from 2001 to 2005, obtaining a diploma in the field. Following this, they pursued further studies in hospitality at Les Roches from 2006 to 2007, earning a BBA degree.
