Jem Garcia

Jem Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. They started their career in 2015 as an Employee Trainer at Selenti's, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, Jem became the Co-executive of Makeup at Variant Magazine, where they stayed until 2020. During the same period, Jem also worked as a Ticket Clerk at the Division of Student Affairs-Event Services. In 2019, Jem worked as a Cocktail Server at Speak of the Devil. In 2020, Jem took on the role of a Student Intern at Morning Dew Farms and also started their own business as a Muralist at ArtbyJem. In 2021, Jem joined Columbia Care as a Processor and in 2022 transitioned to the role of Facility Coordinator, where they worked until 2023. Currently, Jem is working as an Operations Coordinator at Garden Society.

Jem Garcia attended Ohio University from 2017 to 2021, where they pursued a Bachelor of Specialized Studies in Environmental and Plant Biology, Sales, and Applied Management. Their field of study was Botany/Plant Biology. Additionally, in June 2021, Jem obtained certifications from BioTrack and Metrc, becoming Biotrack certified and completing Metrc training. They also obtained an Inbound certification from HubSpot in August 2019.
