James Somerscales has a work experience spanning over two companies. James began their career at Bacardi Brown Forman Brands in 2002, working as a Brand Development Executive and later as a National Account Sales manager. In these roles, James focused on increasing brand visibility and distribution, managing customer contracts, and achieving profitable results. James also played a key role in training projects and managing the company's trade tour. James then joined Westland Horticulture Ltd in 2013 as a Regional Sales Manager before becoming the UK Head of Key Accounts. Their responsibilities at Westland Horticulture included overseeing key accounts and managing sales teams. In 2022, they briefly returned to Westland Horticulture as the UK Head of Key Accounts.
James Somerscales attended Kings College Taunton from 1991 to 1996. James did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time. Later, from 1997 to 2000, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Building/Business from UWE Bristol.
