Gregg Borders

Gregg Borders, BSCS, MSCIS, OCM, serves as the Senior Database and Systems Engineer in the Oracle Technology Group at Garland Independent School District since December 2011. With a robust career spanning over three decades, Borders holds extensive experience in database administration and systems engineering across various organizations, including Dallas County, Rent-A-Center, and Boeing. Military service includes retirement from the Texas State Guard as a Major, following 20 years of combined service in the United States Marine Corps and Texas State Guard. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a Master's degree in Computer Science focused on Advanced Database Administration and Business Intelligence, and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Engineering in Technical Management at Texas A&M University.
