Jason Wheeler is currently the Executive Director of Communications and Public Relations for Garland Independent School District since July 2023. With extensive experience in educational communication, Jason previously served as the Director of Communications for both GARLAND ISD and Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, where responsibilities included enhancing public relations and increasing student enrollment. As a public speaker since August 2017, Jason engages audiences nationwide on utilizing marketing and social media for organizational success. Their background in education includes roles as Dean of the Arts and Humanities Community, Director of the Academy for Media Arts and Technology, Audio Video Instructor, and History Teacher. Jason holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas A&M University.
