Aurea Mendes

Aurea Mendes currently serves as the HR Manager for People Development at Garland since January 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Grupo Salvador Caetano from May 2011 to February 2023, where roles included HR Business Partner and Coordenadora HR Business Partner for Caetano Retail, focusing on people management and alignment of corporate practices. Responsibilities encompassed various HR functions such as talent development, performance management, and recruitment processes. Aurea began professional experience with roles in human resources at Elevus and Toyota Caetano Portugal, along with an early position in sales at Throttleman. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management and Human Resource Development and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, both obtained from ESEIG/IPP.
