Felipe Mues has a work experience of over 20 years with Garlock Sealing Technologies. Felipe started in 1997 as the Sales and Marketing Director for Latin America. In 2017, they were promoted to the role of Director General for Mexico and Latin America. In this role, they were responsible for manufacturing and marketing fluid control products in various industrial sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food, chemicals, energy generation, oil and gas, mining, automotive, and more. Felipe also oversaw the global manufacturing center for exporting products to four continents.
Felipe Mues attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Ingenieria. Felipe then pursued a Diploma in Finanzas para No Financieros from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2002 to 2003, focusing on Contabilidad y finanzas. In 2007 to 2008, Felipe completed a Diploma in Mercadotecnia y Comercialización at Tecnológico de Monterrey, specializing in Ventas especializadas, promoción comercial y actividades de marketing. Felipe then attended Queens University of Charlotte from 2008 to 2009, completing the Enpro Executive Management Program by McColl School of Business, with a focus on Administración y gestión de empresas. In 2017 to 2018, Felipe attended IPADE Business School, where they completed the Programa de Alta Dirección D-1, focusing on Alta Dirección. Felipe's most recent educational experience was from 2020 to 2021, when they attended Tecnológico de Monterrey to complete the Diplomado Data Science; Toma de Decisiones con Análisis Predictivo.

By the early 1900s, Mr. Garlock’s company began establishing facilities at Garlock's current world headquarters.
