Peter Varnai

Peter Varnai is an experienced professional in manufacturing engineering, currently serving as the Senior Engineering Leader at Garlock Family of Companies since May 2015. In this role, Peter manages business operations for the Klozure division, overseeing a team of manufacturing engineers and a Machine shop/Tool Room Team Leader. Prior to this, Peter was the Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader at Swarovski from August 2011 to May 2015, where responsibilities included managing machining and fabrication teams for product tooling and production in a vertically integrated facility. Peter also held positions as Interm Tool Room Manager and Interm Quality Manager during time at Swarovski, contributing to NPD tooling design and quality management. Earlier experience includes manufacturing engineering co-op roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics. Peter holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, earned in 2011.
