Craig Puder

Vice President, Automotive OEM Engineering at Garmin

Craig Puder is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in the automotive industry. Since September 2005, Puder has held various leadership roles at Garmin International, currently serving as Vice President of Automotive OEM Engineering, where responsibility includes overseeing a global team of approximately 750 engineers and managing an $80M annual R&D budget. Previous positions at Garmin involved expanding the engineering organization and delivering significant projects, including the first factory-installed navigation solution for Honda. Prior experience includes roles at Ford Motor Company, Alps Electric, and General Motors, where Puder contributed to manufacturing engineering, design release, and project engineering. Puder holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
