Dan Main

Dan Main is an experienced educator currently serving as an 8th Grade Science Teacher at Garnet Valley School District since October 2023 and as an Assistant Camp Director at Upper Main Line Y since May 2023. Previously, Dan worked as a 5th Grade Teacher at Avon Grove School District and as the Head Girls’ Cross Country Coach at Avon Grove High School. Early teaching experiences include positions as a 6th Grade Science Teacher at West Chester Area School District and a Student Teacher at both Lower Merion School District and Radnor Middle School. Dan also held various roles at Upper Main Line Y and served as a Lead Student Ambassador at Eastern University, where Dan earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education in 2021. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at Immaculata University, Dan's educational background is complemented by a strong commitment to fostering student development and leadership in educational settings.
