Katharine Waldron

Katharine Waldron is a dedicated educator with a diverse background in special education and instructional roles. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at New Bedford Public Schools, Waldron instructors grades 5-7 in Science, focusing on modifying instruction to meet student needs. Previous experience includes teaching English Language Arts for grades 9-12 at READS Collab, as well as multiple special education positions, including roles at Fall River Public Schools and New Bedford Public Schools. Waldron holds a Master's degree in Arts Teaching from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Bachelor's degree in History/Political Science from the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Additional experience includes various roles in educational support and management, including work with Teach For America.
