Jan Kohoutek

Jan Kohoutek is an experienced FEA Engineer with a strong background in structural engineering and stress analysis. Currently at Garrett - Advancing Motion since January 2018, Jan previously worked as an FEA engineer in a contract role at Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. and as a structural engineer at Sobriety s.r.o. Notable experience includes modeling preparation for the L410 aircraft and performing stress-strain analyses for the A350-XWB aircraft while at Evektor, spol. s r.o. Jan holds a Master's degree in Engineering Mechanics and Biomechanics from Brno University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from Brno University of Technology, with additional studies at Chalmers University of Technology.
