Libor Urbanec is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various engineering and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director at Garrett - Advancing Motion since October 2018, Libor oversees operations in the Czech Republic, focusing on R&D and engineering of turbo technologies and electric vehicles. Prior experience includes strategic leadership at Honeywell, where Libor managed multiple sites, developed growth strategies, and maintained company culture. Libor's career began at The Timken Company as an Application Engineer and as a Research Engineer at the Institute of Applied Mechanics Brno. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Design and Process Engineering from Brno University of Technology and an Engineer's degree in Applied Mechanics from Technical University in Brno.
