Josh Neil

Josh Neil has a solid work experience in the software engineering field. Josh started their career at Amadeus in 2017 as a Software Development Engineer intern, where they designed and implemented various tools. One of their notable achievements was the development of a highly-used log retrieval and analysis tool, which gained popularity among employees across multiple Amadeus sites.

In 2019, Josh joined Amadeus as a full-time Software Development Engineer, primarily focusing on backend development using C++11. Josh also had experience with Python and Node.js and occasionally worked on frontend development using Java or Angular.

Currently, Josh is employed at Garrison as a Software Engineer. Josh'sresponsibilities include primarily working on Windows and GNU/Linux applications using C++ and Qt. Additionally, they contribute to the development of Android and iOS apps and plays a significant role as the CI lead in their team, overseeing test automation efforts using C++ and Python.

Josh Neil attended Landau Forte College in Derby, where they completed their secondary education. After graduating from Landau Forte College, they went on to study at the University of York from 2015 to 2019. During their time at the university, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (with a year in industry) in the field of Computer Science.
