Brad Hardesty

Brad Hardesty is the current Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Garten. Prior to their current position, they acted as an independent consultant from January 2020 to September 2021. Their title during this time was Consulting CFO and their main responsibility was to provide strategic, tactical, and administrative support to various growth companies. From May 2016 to July 2019, they were the CFO at DoubleDutch, a marketing event automation software-as-a-service (SaaS) start-up that was acquired by Cvent. At DoubleDutch, Hardesty led finance, accounting, and people operations. Prior to DoubleDutch, they worked at Yahoo! Inc. from May 2007 to March 2015 in several finance positions including Senior Director of Operations Finance, Director of Operations-Finance for the Advertising Products Group, and Director of Operations-Finance for the Platforms and Infrastructure Division. In their role as Senior Director of Operations Finance for Central Technology at Yahoo!, Hardesty led financial planning and operations for Data Center Operations, Network Infrastructure, IT, and Corporate Applications. Brad also managed company-wide capital expenditures. As Senior Director of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis, they led operations finance for the Yahoo!/Microsoft Search Alliance. And as Director of Operations-Finance for the Advertising Products Group, they were responsible for annual planning, financial modeling, forecasting, expense tracking, and resource/capital allocation for a 1,000+ person global organization.

Brad Hardesty has a MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Brad Hardesty reports to Michael Heinrich, Founder & CEO. Brad Hardesty works with Ada Ying Heinrich - ESG & Sustainability Consultant, Scott McDonald - Chief Revenue Officer, and Cory Enos - Head of Client Experience & Well Being Ambassador.
