Brittany Cook is a social scientist and Sr. Principal in Business and Technology Insights at Gartner. Brittany’s research explores the intersections of international trade and development in rural areas, particularly focusing on agricultural production such as olive oil. Their dissertation investigated capacity building for extra-virgin and organic olive oil production in Jordan, supported by prominent organizations including the Fulbright US Student Program. Previously, Brittany held various academic positions, including Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Brittany earned a PhD in Geography from the University of Kentucky, along with an M.A. in Geography from the University of South Carolina and a B.A. in Anthropology and Geography from the University of Mary Washington.
