Anthony Glover

Anthony Glover has a diverse work experience in the field of medical research and surgery. Anthony started their career as a Surgical Oncology Clinical Fellow at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in 2011. Anthony then worked as a General Surgeon and Australian Endocrine Surgeons (AES) Endocrine Surgery Fellow at Northern Sydney Local Health District from 2013 to 2016.

In 2016, Anthony joined Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Research Scholar before moving on to Garvan Institute of Medical Research in 2018. At Garvan Institute, they held the positions of Senior Research Officer and Visiting Scientist.

Anthony has also been associated with University of Sydney as a Clinical Lecturer, Senior Clinical Lecturer, and Program Director Master of Surgery. Anthony served as the Acting Director of Master of Surgery and was responsible for the education office.

In addition, Anthony has worked at Northern Sydney Local Health District as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) and Master of Surgery Lead at Royal North Shore Hospital. Anthony also worked as an Endocrine Surgeon at North Shore Private Hospital and St Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney.

Anthony has contributed to the Australian & New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons (ANZES) as a Research and Scientific Officer and Scientific and Education Convenor. Anthony was involved in developing research programs, creating a research section on the ANZES webpage, and launching research projects. Anthony also introduced member engagement initiatives and leadership reforms.

Furthermore, Anthony has served as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at UNSW. Throughout their various roles, Anthony has demonstrated expertise in endocrine surgery, research, and education.

Anthony Glover completed their Bachelor's Degree in Medicine at UNSW in an unspecified year. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Medicine at the University of Sydney from 2012 to 2016. Anthony's education history also includes a specialization in General Surgery at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons; however, the exact duration of this study remains unknown.
