Elise Richards

Elise Richards has a diverse work experience across various industries. Elise currently works at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and Murdoch Children's Research Institute as a Business Manager for the Centre for Population Genomics. Prior to this, they were the Director of Operations and General Manager at Wintermute Biomedical, where they managed the supply chain, commercial and business support services, and engaged with academic partners. Elise also held the role of Sales & Marketing Manager at Wintermute Biomedical, leading the sales effort for the company's hand and surface sanitizers. Before that, Elise worked as the Performing Arts Coordinator at Rainbow Serpent Festival, where they coordinated performers and engaged with the local community. Elise also worked at Merit Medical Systems as the Marketing & Customer Experience Manager for the Oceania region, leading a team and overseeing various initiatives. Elise has also worked as a freelance contractor at Squid Inc, undertaking contracts for various companies including Melbourne Scientific and the Department of Health & Human Services. Elise co-founded The Gilded Mask, a platform for Australian performing artists to access international tutors and collaborate. Early in their career, Elise held a managerial role at Dymocks Books.

Elise Richards obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, where they studied from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a short course in Finance for Non-Finance Managers at Melbourne Business School, which they finished in 2021.
