Tanya Dwarte has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tanya began their career at Fluorotechnics Ltd in 2001, where they worked as a Laboratory Assistant for two years. In 2004, they joined Clinical Immunology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a Hospital Scientist, and stayed in this role until 2005. Tanya then moved on to the Children's Cancer Institute Australia (CCIA), where they served as a Program Officer for over a decade. In 2016, Tanya joined the Hereditary Cancer Clinic at Prince of Wales Hospital as a Genetic Counselling Student. Finally, in 2017, they joined the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, taking on the role of Clinical Research Coordinator.
Tanya Dwarte completed their Master's Degree in Genetic Counselling from The University of Sydney between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science in Human Physiology and Genetics from Macquarie University, spanning from 2000 to 2004.
