Alexey Medvedev

Alexey Medvedev's work experience begins in 2011, when they worked as a Manager at Novosoft. In 2012, they became an Aspirant at the Institute of Mathematics SB RAS and simultaneously started their Ph.D. studies as a student at Central European University. In 2015, they became a Visiting Researcher at Aalto University and University of Primorska Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies. Alexey then joined Université de Namur as a Post-doctoral research associate in 2016, and later moved to Université catholique de Louvain in 2019 to work as a Postdoctoral Researcher for a two-year research project. Currently, since 2021, Alexey is working as a Senior Data Scientist at Garvis, where they are involved in developing a bionic system for forecasting in supply chains using advanced and explainable AI.

Alexey Medvedev received their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics from Novosibirsk State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2012. Alexey then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mathematics at both the Central European University and the Sobolev Institute of Mathematics from 2012 to 2016. Alexey'sresearch focused on Mathematics and Network Science during their Ph.D. studies.
