Brian Peterson

Brian Peterson is the Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technical Officer at Garwood Medical Devices. Brian has over ten years of experience in the medical device industry, including engineering management, product development, and automation engineering.

Brian began their career as an Automation Engineer at Genzyme Genetics in July 2009. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing automated testing systems for genetic products. Brian then transitioned to Senior Electrical Engineer at Electrochem Solutions Inc., a subsidiary of Greatbatch Ltd., in July 2010. In this role, they led the design and development of efficient power solutions for implantable medical devices. In March 2016, Brian became Principal Electrical Engineer at Integer Holdings Corporation (NYSE:ITGR), the largest medical device outsource manufacturer in the world. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of engineers and technicians in the design and development of new medical technologies. Most recently, in June 2017, Brian was promoted to Engineering Manager at Anderson Power Products. In this role, they manage a team of engineers who develop batteries for high-end niche applications in energy, military, and environmental markets.

Brian Peterson has a MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University and a BS in Electronic Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
