Alan Grainger

Alan Grainger has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alan currently holds the position of Head of Data & Analytics at Gas Networks Ireland since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ervia from 2017 to 2022, where they served as the Head of IT - Ervia Business Services and IT Transformation Lead.

From 2012 to 2017, Alan held various roles at Gas Networks Ireland, including Head of IT, Business Applications Manager, IT Lead - National Smart Metering Programme, and Technical Architect.

Before that, they worked at Musgrave Group as an Applications Architect and IT Manager - ERP & Enterprise BI from 2002 to 2012. Prior to that, they had roles at Citigroup as an Analyst/Programmer from 2000 to 2002, and at Fidelity Investments as a Software QA Analyst (Intern) in 1999. Additionally, Alan gained experience as an Analyst/Programmer (Intern) at Finalysis Channel Islands in 1998.
