Ali Ekhtiari (Cyrus)

Ali (Cyrus) Ekhtiari is a highly experienced engineer and researcher in the field of chemical and gas engineering. Currently serving as a Future Network Engineer at Gas Networks Ireland since May 2022, Ali focuses on gas demand forecasting, network development, and security of supply analysis. Previous roles include Lead Researcher, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and PhD Researcher at University College Dublin, where projects included the testing of blended hydrogen and emissions data analysis. Ali also has significant experience in business development and project management, notably as Head of Business Development in Energy Projects at TAM Iran Khodro, and has contributed to numerous technical designs and innovations throughout a diverse career spanning various organizations. Ali holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from University College Dublin and an MSc in Chemical Engineering from Shiraz University.
