Christos Paisios

Head of Engineering at Gaspardesk

Christos Paisios has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Christos began as a High School Mathematics Teacher at Frontistiria Polimeni in 2007, followed by a Teaching Assistant in Numerical Analysis at the University of Athens in 2008. In 2011, they became a Junior Software Engineer at TOPTECH SA, where they developed a range of small applications. Christos then joined Aksia in 2013 as a Software Engineer, followed by Stoiximan.gr in 2014 as a Software Engineer. In 2017, they became a Senior Software Engineer at e-Travel S.A., followed by Senior Software Engineer & Team Lead at Etraveli Group in 2018. In 2020, they co-founded Cody.gr and in 2022 they became the Head of Engineering at Gaspardesk Inc.

Christos Paisios has a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they obtained between 2007 and 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the same institution between 2001 and 2006. In addition, Paisios has obtained numerous certifications, including Docker for Developers from LinkedIn in November 2022, SQL (Advanced) Certificate from HackerRank in April 2022, Software Architecture: Breaking a Monolith into Microservices from LinkedIn in October 2021, Distributed Systems Design Fundamentals from Particular Software in August 2021, Programming Languages, Part B from Coursera in March 2021, Programming Languages, Part A from Coursera in February 2021, Advanced Distributed Systems Design using SOA & DDD from Particular Software in June 2020, M001: MongoDB Basics from MongoDB in August 2018, Machine Learning from Coursera in February 2018, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional and MS: Programming in C# from Microsoft in December 2015, Web Application Architectures from Coursera in May 2015, and Computational Investing, Part I from Coursera in October 2013, as well as a Certificate of Proficiency in English from the University of Michigan in May 2013.
