Woles Wahidi

Woles Wahidi, P.Eng., is a seasoned manufacturing engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Gastops since May 2018, Woles has successfully contributed to the design and development of advanced oil debris monitoring systems for aircraft and helicopter engines, while leading multi-disciplinary engineering improvement projects that resulted in significant defect reduction and enhanced operational efficiency. Previous roles include Manufacturing Engineer & Production Team Lead and Test Engineer, where Woles implemented design changes, optimized production processes, and developed comprehensive testing protocols. Woles also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University and a Personal Trainer Specialist certification. Prior experience includes various leadership and instructional roles within the City of Ottawa and research assistant positions at MDS Aero Support and Rolls-Royce, highlighting a diverse skill set in both engineering and fitness instruction.
