Waldemar Lernhardt

Waldemar Lernhardt, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in scientific operations and therapeutic development. Currently serving as Vice President of Scientific Operations and Scientific Advisor at GATC Health since July 2022, Waldemar has previously held prominent roles as Chief Operations Officer and VP of Therapeutics Development at ProSci Incorporated from October 2020 to December 2023. With a strong background in medical devices and biomarker-based diagnostics from positions at ReadiX GmbH and Proveri Inc., Waldemar has also contributed to drug development efforts in various companies including Artyx Pharmaceuticals and MAXIA Pharmaceuticals. A former Staff Scientist at Stratagene and Research Program Director at the California Institute For Biological Research, Waldemar has focused on critical research areas in immunology and oncology. Waldemar's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Immunology from the Basel Institute for Immunology and Heidelberg University.
