Jacob Annesley has a solid background in public relations, content creation, and social media management in the entertainment industry. With experience at Mushroom Group, Ubisoft, Ogilvy PR ANZ, and Gate 7, Jacob has managed promotional activities, coordinated campaigns, and handled publicity for various projects and events. An alumni of the Australian Institute of Music with a Bachelor's degree in Entertainment Management, Jacob has honed their skills in communications and marketing throughout their career.

We specialise in integrated marketing solutions to increase tourism and visitation from Australia and New Zealand. With over two decades of experience in this niche, we have gained a unique and deep understanding of the drivers of travel in our market and forged intimate connections with its complex network of stakeholders. Owner and Managing Director Jo Palmer fell in love with travel early in life, excited by the international networks of people and experiences that travel creates. With a vision of marketing the world’s most attractive and exciting travel destinations while working with creative, driven people, in March 1998 she created Gate 7. Launched as a tourism representation specialist in the fields of sales, marketing and public relations, today Gate 7’s core competencies also include MICE, consumer marketing, events, digital marketing and media buying (in partnership with Razor). Over the years, the agency has grown selectively but has always remained true to its niche competency: tourism. It continues to be important for the company to only work with clients the team feels 100 per cent passionate about.
