Karen Nelson

Karen Nelson is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as VP of Marketing Strategies and VP of Marketing Operations at Gate City Bank since January 2020. Previously, Karen held the position of AVP of Digital Marketing at the same organization. Prior to Gate City Bank, Karen worked as a Project Manager at Perficient and as Senior Project Manager and Team Lead at Sundog. Karen's career also includes roles as Senior Project Manager at Corelink Administrative Solutions, Marketing Planner at Essentia Health, and various marketing positions at Eide Bailly Technology Consulting. Karen began professional experience as Career Services Director at Rasmussen College. Karen holds a BA in Communications/Public Relations from Concordia College, earned between 2000 and 2004.
