Alexander Timberlake

Alexander Timberlake is a seasoned Sr. Commissioning Engineer with extensive experience in commissioning and project execution across various industries, including energy and manufacturing. Currently at GATE Energy since January 2020, Alexander has previously contributed to Tesla, where significant projects included the commissioning of the Gigafactory in Reno, and the development of an execution plan for Fremont Factory's Model-Y expansion. Prior roles include commissioning offshore platforms at Kiewit and designing capital-efficient safety relief facilities at ExxonMobil. Alexander began a career in engineering at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company as an intern, focusing on operational improvements in chemical processes. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, earned in 2013.
