Chelsea Katzenberg

Chelsea Katzenberg has a diverse work experience starting in 2008 as an Assistant Sports Information Director at Vassar College. Chelsea then worked as a Home Tutor at Arlington Central School District from 2010 to 2011. In 2011, they were a Student-Teacher at Brooklyn Technical High School for four months. Chelsea continued their teaching career as a Social Studies Teacher at New Visions Charter High School for the Humanities II from 2012 to 2017. Chelsea also gained teaching experience as a Student-Teacher at The Computer School (M.S. M245) from January to June 2012. Chelsea joined the Big History Project in August 2017 as an Outreach Coordinator, where they worked until November 2020. Chelsea then became a Content Development Manager at OER Project from September 2019 to November 2020. Currently, they work as a Senior Content Manager at Gates Ventures starting from November 2020.

Chelsea Katzenberg attended Vassar College from 2004 to 2008 where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and English. In 2011, they pursued further education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and completed a Master of Arts degree in the Teaching of Social Studies in 2012.
