Prarthna Desai

Prarthna Desai is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health and life sciences. Currently serving as Director at Gates Ventures since 2019, Prarthna has held various roles within the organization, including Associate Director and Manager. Previously, Prarthna was a Summer Associate at the Global Health Investment Fund and worked as Health Operations Lead at Zipline, where responsibilities included overseeing healthcare components of the first commercial drone delivery service in Rwanda. Prarthna's experience also includes working as a Research Assistant at Harvard Kennedy School and multiple positions at the Clinton Health Access Initiative, as well as consulting at Bain & Company. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPP from Harvard Kennedy School, and dual S.B. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
