Tyler Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Tyler started their career as a Marketing/Blogging Intern at Arizona State University in 2011, where they researched and developed a strategy for a new blog format. Tyler then became a Freelance Blogger at Phoenix New Times, writing blog posts on movie reviews and geek culture. In 2012, Tyler joined Nationwide Vision as an Optical Dispenser, selling optical hardware and managing a team as an Assistant Manager.

In 2013, they joined Seattle Tilth as a Communications and Marketing Intern, taking on responsibilities such as researching and developing recommendations on policy issues and writing articles for publication. Tyler then moved to WE Communications in 2014, where they held multiple roles such as Employee Engagement & CSR Specialist and Account Executive, Social Innovation. Here, they gained experience in employee engagement, corporate social responsibility, and account management.

In 2018, Tyler joined Premera Blue Cross as an HR Division Communications Specialist, where they focused on internal communications within the HR division. Currently, Tyler is working at Gates Ventures as a Senior Manager, Employee Engagement, responsible for managing employee engagement initiatives within the organization.

Tyler Hughes attended Arizona State University from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Prior to this, there is no available information regarding Tyler's educational experiences. In terms of additional certifications, Tyler obtained the AIM - Accelerating Implementation Methodology certification from Implementation Management Associates (IMA) in April 2019.
