Brent Cornic

Global Director, Operations Engineering at Gates

Brent Cornic has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Brent started their career at Eaton in 2003, where they held various roles including Manufacturing Engineer, Supervisor of Product Engineering, and Manager of Manufacturing Engineering. During this time, they led multiple successful Black Belt six sigma projects, initiated process improvements, and managed capital projects. In 2008, they joined Johnson Controls as a Manager of Manufacturing Engineering, where they continued to drive process improvements and manage projects. Brent progressed through various roles such as Production Manager and Program Manager before joining Gates Corporation in 2017 as the Global Director of Operations Engineering. In this role, they are responsible for implementing and communicating manufacturing process standards globally, driving compliance, and supporting global improvement projects.

Brent Cornic attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 1996 to 2002, where they earned a BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
