Phylicia Anderson MSW, LCSW has a diverse range of work experience in various roles within the social work field. Phylicia currently serves as the Director of Child & Adolescent Programs and Director of Outreach at Gateway Community Service Board. Prior to this, Phylicia held the position of Program Manager at Gateway's Georgia Apex Program. From 2016, they have been working as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor, Presenter, and Advocate at P. Anderson, LCSW. Phylicia also has experience as a District Behavior Interventionist at Savannah-Chatham County Public School System from 2014 to 2020, and as a Mental Health Therapist at The Children's Home of Cincinnati in 2014. Additionally, Phylicia has held the role of Treatment Coordinator/Therapist at the National Youth Advocate Program from 2011 to 2013, and Program Coordinator at the Center for Multicultural Affairs from 2007 to 2010.

Phylicia Anderson obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Eastern Michigan University, which they attended from 2005 to 2010. Phylicia then pursued a Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Cincinnati from 2010 to 2012. Phylicia has additional certifications including being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from the Georgia Secretary of State. Phylicia is also trained as an Outreach Wellness Learning (OWL) Seminars Trainer by Mental Health America and as a Youth Mental Health First Aid USA Instructor by Mental Health First Aid Maryland.
