Delfina Acosta Wilson

Delfina Acosta Wilson has a diverse work experience in the field of student affairs. Delfina has held positions such as Vice President of Student Affairs at Gateway Community College since 2022. Prior to that, they served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Kansas City Kansas Community College from 2016 to 2022. Delfina also worked at East Mississippi Community College, where they held various roles including Adjunct Professor, Dean of Students, and Workforce Development Specialist from 2005 to 2022. Delfina Acosta Wilson was also the Dean of Students at Nova Southeastern University from 2013 to 2016 and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami from 2012 to 2013.

Delfina Acosta Wilson has a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration with a specialization in Community College Education from Mississippi State University, which they completed in 2009. Prior to that, they also earned a Master of Art in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies, both from Mississippi State University.
