Lora Timmons

Lora Timmons, DHPE, currently serves as the Dean of Nursing and Healthcare at Gateway Community College since August 2020. Prior to this role, Lora held the position of Assistant Dean for the Robert Morris Experiential College at Roosevelt University from March 2020 to August 2020. Lora's extensive experience at Robert Morris University spans from April 2013 to March 2020 as Dean for Curriculum & Assessment and Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Studies, alongside serving as Dean for Program Development from August 2011 to April 2013. Lora's career began at Robert Morris University in September 1994 as Director of Education and Student Advisor until August 2011. Lora holds a Doctorate in Health Professions Education from Logan University (2021), a Master of Public Health from Northern Illinois University (1994), and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Iowa State University (1989).
