Deborah Solmor

Deborah Solmor currently serves as General Counsel for the Gateway Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on substance use disorder treatment, since November 2023. Previously, Deborah led the Office of General Counsel and served as Corporate Secretary for the TCS Education System, overseeing legal matters for six independent non-profit colleges and universities. Prior to that, Deborah held the roles of Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, and Deputy General Counsel at Perdoceo Education Corporation, managing litigation and compliance for a large post-secondary education services corporation. Deborah's career includes significant experience in commercial litigation as Interim Commercial Litigation Counsel at Jones Lang LaSalle and extensive practice at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where Deborah managed complex litigation in highly regulated industries. Deborah holds a B.A. in Economics from Northwestern University and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
