Erikah Smalls

Erikah Smalls is a skilled mental health professional with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Forensic Clinician at Gateways Hospital and Mental Health Center since November 2023. Previously, Erikah held the position of Mobile Crisis Clinician with the Telecare Mobile Crisis Response Team from June 2022 to November 2023, and worked as a Mental Health Clinician and Rehabilitation Counselor II at Second Chance from February 2018 to November 2023. Erikah's background also includes serving as a Bilingual Youth Development Specialist at North County Lifeline and as a School Social Work Counselor at San Marcos Unified School District. Earlier career experience includes a significant tenure as Lead Medical Assistant & Referral Coordinator at Valle Verde Pediatrics Medical Group, Inc. Erikah holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development from California State University San Marcos, in addition to a Medical Assistant Certificate from Kaplan College-San Diego.
