Charmaine Selma

Charmaine Selma has a diverse range of work experience in accounting and finance roles. Charmaine began their career at IBM in 2013 as a Cost Accounting Analyst and worked there until 2015. Charmaine then joined Reyes Tacandong & Co. in 2015 as an Internal Auditor/Advisory Associate and stayed until 2016. In 2016, they joined Aspen Medical - UAE as a Cash Accountant and later became a Senior Accountant until 2020. In 2021, Charmaine worked at bayupayu as an Accounting Manager - Offshore for six months before joining Pinoy Can as an Accounting Manager from July 2021 to March 2023. Currently, they are working at GatewayX as an Accounting Manager/Developer starting in April 2023.

Charmaine Selma completed their education in a sequential manner. Charmaine first attended Llamas Memorial Institute from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their high school diploma. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree at Bataan Peninsula State University. After completing their undergraduate studies, they enrolled in the CPA Review School of the Philippines (CPAR) from 2012 to 2013 to enhance their knowledge in Accounting and Finance and became a Certified Public Accountant.

In addition to their formal education, Charmaine Selma also obtained several certifications. In June 2013, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant accreditation from the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Charmaine also completed the following online courses: "MERN eCommerce From Scratch" from Udemy in September 2021, "The Complete 2021 Web Development Bootcamp" from Udemy in February 2021, and "Productivity and Time Management for the Overwhelmed" from Udemy in December 2020. Furthermore, they hold a diploma in Smartphone Photography from Shaw Academy and completed the course "MKTG101x: Introduction to Marketing: Tools to Set Enterprises Apart" from the University of Edinburgh Business School, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
