Lia Fischer

Lia Fischer has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Lia currently holds the role of Head of Events + Partnerships at Gathar, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, Lia worked as a Professional Actor at CESD Talent Agency starting in December 2017. Lia also served as a Catering Sales Manager at Patina Restaurant Group from September 2021 to January 2023.

Lia has experience in event planning and sales, having worked as a Special Events Sales Director at Legends from October 2019 to March 2020, and as the Director of Special Events at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills from October 2013 to June 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Sales Manager at LOL Social Media from February 2012 to September 2012.

Further back in their career, Lia worked as a Corporate Event Planner at Birthright Israel NEXT from August 2008 to June 2009, and as a Sales Manager at San Jose Repertory Theatre from September 2007 to August 2008. Lia also has experience in public speaking, having held roles as a Public Speaker at DeVry University from September 2005 to July 2007 and at International Academy of Design and Technology from August 2004 to August 2005.

Lia Fischer pursued their education with a Bachelor of Fine Arts - BFA degree in Theatre from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Following their undergraduate studies, they further honed their skills at Second City Chicago, specializing in Improv, from 2002 to 2006 as part of the Conservatory program.
