Paul Price

Paul Price has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Paul is currently the CTO and Board Member at Gather, a position they have held since April 2018. In addition, they are the Managing Partner at GoodWell Venture Partners, where they focus on incubating and investing in early-stage companies with a social mission, beginning in March 2018.

Paul has also served as an Advisory Board member at SMHeuristics since February 2018, providing sales and marketing support to drive growth and revenue.

Prior to their current roles, Paul was the CEO of Balihoo, a company that specializes in transforming national digital campaigns into localized executions. Paul held this position from July 2015 until January 2018. Before becoming CEO, they were the CTO of Balihoo from February 2008 to July 2015.

Between 2002 and 2007, Paul worked at Clearwater Advisors as a Lead Developer and Portfolio Manager. During this time, they designed and developed software systems to manage billions of dollars in corporate cash and played an instrumental role in creating Clearwater Analytics, a leading institutional investment reporting company.

Paul also gained experience as an Equity Trader and Lead Developer at Sawtooth Investment Management from 2002 to 2007.

Earlier in their career, Paul worked as a Software Developer at CQG from October 2001 to May 2002 and at RateExchange from March 2001 to October 2001. At RateExchange, they built and maintained software for commodity trading and developed a web-based client service suite.

Lastly, Paul worked as a Programmer at Xpit.com from May 2000 to March 2001, where they designed and developed web-based commodities trading software and pioneered the use of asynchronous status and quote updates.

Paul Price attended Boise State University from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2000, they attended Utah State University and pursued studies in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Paul has also obtained certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
