Kyle Mathews has a long history of work experience in the technology field. In 2017, they were the Chief Technology Officer and CEO of Gatsby. In 2016, they were an Open Source Consultant for GatsbyJS, building open source web technologies and helping companies adopt them. In 2014, they founded RelateRocket. From 2011-2014, they were a Product Manager and Senior Frontend Developer at Pantheon Systems Inc. In 2009, they founded Eduglu, an education technology company. From 2007-2009, they were a Research Assistant at the Kevin Rollins eBusiness Center at Brigham Young University. In 2007, they were an Intern Web Developer at Novell in Provo. In 2006, they worked as an Internet Marketer for Sebo Consulting.

Kyle Mathews obtained a Masters in Information Systems from Brigham Young University between 2002 and 2009.
