Wim Janssens

Wim Janssens has extensive work experience in various finance and treasury roles. Wim is currently the Head of Treasury, Insurance and Subsidies Europe at GATX Rail Europe since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Finance Manager at GATX Rail Europe from March 2021 to December 2021. Before joining GATX Rail Europe, Wim worked at Schlumberger, where they held several positions including Corporate Controller The Netherlands from July 2015 to September 2020, Treasury Operations Finance Manager from April 2012 to June 2015, Global Treasury Back Office Manager from January 2004 to March 2012, Treasury Back Office Manager from April 2001 to March 2004, and Accounting and Consolidation Manager / Cash Pool Manager from March 1996 to March 2001. Prior to Schlumberger, Wim worked at Continental Can Europe and BP - Chemicals Division in various finance and management reporting roles.

Wim Janssens completed their education at Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen, which is currently known as KULeuven, campus Antwerpen. Wim pursued a Master's degree in Commercial and Financial Sciences, with a major in Accountancy and Tax, from 1983 to 1988.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Wim Janssens has obtained several certifications in various fields. In September 2020, they completed the following courses on LinkedIn: "Accounting Foundations: Internal Controls," "Activity-Based Costing," "Mergers & Acquisitions," and "SAP ERP Essential Training."
