Caren Chua

Caren Chua has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Caren worked at SB Creative Lab as a Director of Projects Team and as a Project Manager. Caren also worked at Gaucho Creative as a Director of Project Management and Account Management, Director of Design, and Project Manager. Additionally, they have served as a Student Life Intern at UC Santa Barbara | Student Engagement & Leadership and as the President and Co-President of Gaucho Gaming. Caren was also involved in different roles at UCSB Esports and Marginalized Genders in Gaming at UCSB. Caren has experience as a Student Ambassador at Adobe, a Graphic Designer at The Bottom Line Newspaper, and as a mentee at Queer Women of Esports. Caren has also worked as a Project Manager at Santa Barbara Zoo.

Caren Chua completed their high school education at Temple City High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2021. Caren is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Art and Technology at UC Santa Barbara, which is expected to be completed in 2025. Additionally, they have also studied Psychology at Pasadena City College. In 2023, they obtained a certification in Foundations of Project Management from Google Career Certificates.
